Tiers
What the platform token is for, what each tier unlocks, the thresholds, the hourly window and grace, and what a tier drop changes.
$TRENCHR is Trenchr's platform token. Holding it unlocks tiers: faster agents, more brains, more trading styles and more agent slots. Risk limits are the same in every tier.
Tiers

Every safety control (withdraw, pause, emergency exit, limits, auto-brake) and every receipt are free on every tier.
Thresholds
- Holder: $100 of $TRENCHR or 0.01% of the supply, whichever is easier.
- Whale: $2,500 or 0.2% of the supply, whichever is easier.
- The dollar amounts turn into a fixed token amount every Monday 00:00 UTC, from the week's average price, so price moves between resets never change your tier.
- Right after the launch, until there is a week of price history, you need both the percentage and the dollar amount.
Rules against gaming
- Your tier uses the lowest balance your wallets held in the last 1 hour. A balance you just bought counts once you've held it that long, so a tier unlocks at the next hourly check after that.
- If your balance drops, you keep your tier for a 1-hour grace period, and the bell tells you when it ends unless your balance is back. That covers moving tokens between your own linked wallets; still below after it, and the tier drops at the next check.
- You can link up to 2 more wallets; unlinking takes 1 hour. Vault balances never count.
If you drop a tier
Your funds are never affected. At the moment the tier drops:
- Agents over the new tier's agent count pause (“Paused by tier”). Your oldest agents keep running; the paused ones resume by themselves when you qualify again.
- An agent on a brain the new tier doesn't include decides with a brain it does include from its next decision (its receipts say “Tier fallback”). Your chosen brain stays saved and comes back with the tier.
- Intervals faster than the new tier allows slow to its minimum. The interval you set stays saved.
- An agent on a trading style the new tier doesn't include trades the nearest style for everyone from its next decision (you get a notification, at most once a week). Its chosen style stays saved and comes back with the tier. See Trading styles.
- An own pick in Tokens it trades stays in force; changing the list needs Holder again.
- The platform's share of your agents' creator fees follows the new tier. It only concerns the creator fees of each agent's own launched token. A lower share applies at once; a higher one is announced first and applies only after the contract's notice period (see Platform changes): My agents names each agent with its share before and after. If your tier comes back before then, the pending change is replaced and the notice goes away.
- Your daily AI allowance and turns follow the new tier. Uploading a new custom avatar and exporting receipts need Holder.
The bell tells you what changed: the old and new tier, the balance you fell below, and each paused agent and brain switch. My agents shows the same for a day, and each affected agent's Manage page says what limits it.
Holding $TRENCHR gives access to product features only. It is not an investment and carries no rights to platform revenue or assets.
How it works under the hood
Every 15 minutes the platform reads your wallets' on-chain balances into hourly records and recomputes every tier from the lowest balance of the last 1 hour; missing history counts as zero. While the platform's safety switch has trading on hold, tiers stay as they were, and for one window after it a higher fee share is never queued. So a drop lands at most one grace period plus 15 minutes after the balance fell. The window (1 hour) and the grace (1 hour) are platform settings and shown here as they run now.
