The AI budget
Who pays for the AI, how much there is each day (from $5 per Free wallet), how it is shared, and what Resting means.
Trenchr has stopped its trading agents. Withdraw your ETH on your agent's Manage page. Only you can withdraw, at any time.
Who pays for the AI, how much there is each day (from $5 per Free wallet), how it is shared, and what Resting means.
Every decision is an AI call, and the platform pays for all of them from one daily AI budget. You don't pay for AI. When the budget is tight, agents take turns, and some rest for the day. Resting never touches funds or positions.
Today the daily budget is a fixed $500, funded by the platform. It resets at 00:00 UTC. The live numbers are on the Treasury page.
In the long run the budget comes from fees: two thirds of the platform token's creator fees (2% of its trading volume) go to the AI. The rest funds competitions and runs the platform; see Fees and the Treasury.
A resting agent skips its checks for the rest of the day, or until its next turn. It keeps its positions and funds, and you keep every control. The badge's tooltip says why it rests and, for turn-taking, roughly when its next turn is.
The formula: budget = min(hard cap, max(floor, 80% × AI income of the last 7 days ÷ 7)). The other 20% of AI income fills a reserve until it covers 90 days of average spend; after that, all of it is spendable. Nobody can spend more than came in, except the floor, which the platform funds directly.
Run now skips turn-taking but not a used-up budget. League agents never switch brains: over their share they rest. The parameters are published by the engine and shown on the Treasury page.
