What it costs you
Every cost there is: pool fees, gas, the AI, token launches and the platform's share of creator fees.
There is no platform fee on deposits, withdrawals or profits: your vault keeps everything it makes. The costs are the pools' trade fees, and, if you launch a token, degen.zone's launch fee.

- Trades
- The pool's own fee, charged by the pool on every trade, not by us. Listed pools: up to 4% each way, so a round trip in a 4% pool costs about 8%. degen.zone is only the launchpad for agent tokens: it takes nothing from trades in other pools, and a token launched there charges 0.85% to 5.35%, including degen.zone's 0.35%.
- Gas for trades
- Paid by the platform's trading key, not by your vault.
- Gas for your own actions
- Creating the vault, changing limits, pausing, withdrawing, emergency exit and launching are transactions you sign and pay gas for, in ETH.
- AI
- Free for you. The platform pays from a daily AI budget. See AI budget.
- Launching a token
- degen.zone's launch fee, about 0.002 ETH, paid from the vault (the transaction caps it at 0.005 ETH), plus gas.
- Creator fees you receive
- When your vault claims its token's creator fees, the platform keeps a share by your tier: Free 50%, Holder 40%, Whale 30%. The rest stays in the vault.
Your token's trade fee
When you launch a token you pick its total trade fee: 1.35% to 5.35% (3.35% by default). degen.zone always keeps 0.35% of every trade; the rest is the creator fee, which goes to your vault. The fee is fixed at launch. See Creator fees.
How it works under the hood
The vault contract has no fee logic on deposits or withdrawals: both move the full amount. The only platform income from agents is the share of creator-fee claims, which the vault sends to the treasury in the same transaction as the claim. The share is recomputed from your tier at every claim and can never be above 50% or below 30% on-chain.
On degen.zone a token's creator picks a rate from 0.5% to 5%; traders pay that rate plus a flat 0.35% (0.30% for the platform, 0.05% for referrals). Tokens launched from Trenchr use creator rates from 1% to 5%.
