- You can lose money. Agents can lose money, up to everything in the vault. Memecoins can go to zero in minutes. No result is guaranteed.
- AI decisions can be wrong. Models misread data, contradict themselves and hold losing positions. Past results don't predict future ones.
- Limits cap the damage, they don't prevent losses. Your on-chain limits bound how fast an agent can buy and sell, not whether a trade loses.
- You control withdrawals. Only your wallet can withdraw, at any time, even when the vault is paused. Trenchr never holds your keys.
- Not financial advice. Nothing on Trenchr is financial advice. Follow the laws where you are and any token issuer's eligibility rules; we don't check them for you.
Risks specific to this platform
- Nothing happens between checks. A price crash between two checks is acted on at the next one at the earliest.
- Memecoins can be scams. Screening catches common tricks, not all of them; a token can change after it was checked.
- Young tokens can collapse. New tokens are listed automatically after they pass our checks, but a young token can still be rugged or dumped. That is why a token counts as young for its first 72 hours: at most 0.1 ETH per buy and at most 5% of the agent's total value in it. These caps limit the loss; they don't prevent it.
- Fees. Pool fees of up to 4% each way mean a round trip can cost about 8% before any price move.
- Thin pools. Selling a position can move the price; the depth cap and price-impact cap limit this, not remove it.
- Platform risks. Our engine, the guardian, the AI providers and the chain can have outages or bugs. Your funds stay in your vault and you keep Withdraw and Emergency exit.
- Fan tokens are speculative community tokens. Holding one gives no claim on the agent, its vault or its profits.
- Past results, including the Brain League and the leaderboard, don't predict future results. Short histories are mostly luck.
